This needs no introductions!
I’m sure you’ve all come across these or similar photos all around the internet:
And in case you live under a rock and you haven’t seen them, surely you’ve bumped into photos of couples imitating this pose in the streets and in tourist places! Or maybe such couples have been in your way while you’re trying to take a photo, so you weren’t really happy with their reenactment!
New year = new projects;) Looking forward to tell you more details soon.
Beautiful, isn’t she? Or should I say gorgeous? 😀
And this is the couple together:
But how did it all start?
Murad Osmann is a photographer and used to have his own Instagram account. And you can probably imagine how photographers can be on holidays… They need to take their time to get the perfect shot. And it’s true that perfection takes a lot of effort, but it’s also time consuming.
We’ve all been to a place with someone that stops every 5′ to take 10 photos and most of the time they’re lame selfies! Though this can’t be the case with these two, but I just wanted to take it out! 😀
So, Nataly would take his hand ask him to follow her to the places she wants to see. And this is how the whole #FollowMeTo phenomenon began!
This was the photo that started it all:
Taken in Barcelona with an iPhone!
Things have evolved since then! Now DSLR cameras, lights and styling are fundamental elements of each shot, among the many other preparations involved in the process of taking one such photo! And the result is spectacular! The photos are endless, but here are some of them, in order of Instagram popularity (number of likes). Have a look at the outrageously high number of likes under each photo!
#followmeto Udaipur, India with @yourleo. After visiting New Delhi, Varanasi, Agra and Jaipur, we have decided that we want to rest at the final destination and Udaipur was the best choice. Of course we didn’t sit still and took a photo at this amazing palace in the middle of the lake………………………………………………………………………………………………….. With this photo we are starting our new year-long creative collaboration #LeTourDeBochic
They’re all amazing! But there are 2 photos that are even more popular than the ones above!
The first one is the one where Murad proposed and Nataly said Yes!
And, naturally, the second most popular one is the one inspired by the couple’s wedding!
Romance and beautiful photography aside, the couple have become famous (Follow Me To has its own Facebook page!) and they’ve even opened the Follow Me To shop, where you can buy items related to the theme of their photos! Next project? Who knows?! (UPDATE: The shop doesn’t exist anymore, but maybe it’s temporary. Let’s see!)
